Paprika is the name given only slightly hot and sweet members of the capsicum family. Paprika is most appreciated for its vibrant colour and agreeable, full-bodied flavour, while chillies are used mostly for their flavour and heat. It is very red in colour and has no bitter aftertaste. It is often used in Hungarian goulash and European recipes.
How To Use:
Sweet paprika is a key ingredient in authentic paella. Beyond paella, it is an excellent spice to use for flavouring potatoes, stews and sauces. Sweet paprika’s, full-bodied flavour is also fantastic with roasted meats, chicken or fish.
