Starting from humble beginnings, The Source Bulk Foods was born in Australia in 2012 from our belief that unpackaged food should be easier to access and a smaller carbon footprint could be achieved every time you shop. Our customers agreed!!!
The Source Bulk Foods arrived in Canada in 2021. Charles Peronin in Central Canada and Kristine and Michael Kuss in the west have been working with founder Paul Maderos since 2019 to bring the zero-waste organic shopping experience to North America. Charles opened his first store in Toronto (Roncesvalles) in the Spring of 2021 and Michael and Kristine opened their first store in Vancouver (Kitsilano) in the Summer. As expected, the community has embraced The Source Bulk Foods with enthusiasm.
