Our awesome team member Alex (aka @ballerina_bites) shares her Oat Mylk recipe here.
Oat Mylk is great for those that are allergic to nuts or if you need a quick mylk and don't have time for the pre-soaking. It only requires a few simple (and cheap) ingredients. Enjoy.
Check out Ballerina Bites website http://www.ballerinabites.org for more recipes.
1 cup rolled Oats (use Gluten Free oats to make this if you like)
3 Medjool Dates, pitted (optional)
Pinch of Salt
3 cups filtered water

Combine oats, medjool dates, salt and water in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour milk through a nut milk bag or cheese cloth (for oat mylk not 100% necessary). Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
Also, feel free to experiment and flavour your mylk with cacao powder, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, coffee, matcha, coconut…we could go on!
